Arvo Cafe moved the needle for the Hawaii Island cafe scene. While most cafes here are slower paced and lowkey vibe, Arvo brought a european sensibity, very high quality coffee making, and shares its space with stylish sister company Surf Camp making for a cool coffee-retail experience. Besides drinks, you can also grab light bites of the avo-bread, salad, etc. variety. This is one of our favorite stops on this side of the island, especially on the drive back to Pacific 19 Kona from Pololu Valley.
